Because of her artistic studies of the Goldberg Variations by J.S.Bach at the piano, owing to her fascination of the artist personality of Bach, and last but not least because of her early introduction to piano duo works due to her father, Duo Karl-Heinz and Michael Schlüter, and the duo with her sister Magdalena, the author Ann-Helena Schlüter was close with the Goldberg Variations and their adaption by Rheinberger.
